Dennis Stroer is a Class A HVAC Contractor. He has been in the business of air conditioning and heating design, installation, and service for 25 years. He is NBI certified for Test & Balance, certified by the State of Florida as a Class 1 Residential Rater, New Commercial Rater, and New Public Building Rater. He is certified by ACCA as an instructor in Manual J V8.
Cheryl Stroer is a Class 3 Residential Rater. She has been in the air conditioning and heating business for 25 years. She is certified by the State of Florida as a Class 3 Residential Rater, FGBC Certified, and is experienced in Code Compliance Calculation and HVAC Load Calculations.
Robert Monks works with our firm as an HVAC design associate. Robert worked in the air conditioning field for 8 years as an installer, technician, and finally the installation and service manager for a Venice, Florida contractor. Robert has been with Calcs-Plus since 2001 performing HVAC system design and specification for residential and light commercial projects. He has expertise in the design of churches, restaurants, offices, as well as all levels of residential construction. Robert is trained in all facets of HVAC sizing calculations, ventilation standards, and performs all drawings in an Auto CAD format.
Randy Hurley has been with Calcs-Plus since 2000 performing HVAC Load Calculations for residential and light commercial projects. Randy’s duties range from HVAC Load Calculations to assisting on Air Side Diagnostic & Testing work. He brings with him 5 years experience in the construction field.
Jeremy Gary is a Class 1 Energy Rater and a USGBC LEED for Homes Green Rater. In addition to building performance testing, Jeremy’s responsibilities include building science consulting for new and existing residential/commercial buildings – as well as energy auditing on existing residential buildings. He brings with him a background in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and is based out of the Venice, FL office.
TITUSVILLE OFFICE (Orlando)
Jon Klongerbo is Director of our East Coast Division. He is a Duct Smoke Testing Instructor, certified by the State of Florida as a Class 1 Residential Energy Rater and a Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) certifying agent. He has performed hundreds of duct tests in support of different Federal, State and Utility programs and for diagnostic investigations. He is currently involved with private development and introduction of innovative, practical and understandable duct testing systems and protocols for common usage. He has conducted cost and energy savings analysis on a multitude of new residential construction projects and has worked in support of numerous technical and research projects while employed at the Florida Solar Energy center. Jon has an MBA from University of Central Florida and a BSBA from the University of Florida.
Tei Kucharski performs Manual-J load and energy code calculations for Calcs-Plus. She is also program coordinator for the Florida Energy Gauge on a part time basis. There, her tasks include marketing Energy Gauge® software to consumers, builders, real estate professionals and mechanical systems professionals, the training of new raters, educating diversified groups about the rating system, software technical support and maintaining the ratings database. In addition, she has also conducted workshops and performed technical support for the Department of Community Affairs in Florida dealing with both residential and commercial energy code to building officials, HVAC contractors, and builders. Ms.Kucharski has more than 20 years experience in preparing residential and commercial energy calculations for builders. She is a Certified Class I Energy Rater in the State of Florida and a certified residential building contractor, inactive. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Housing Coalition, a non-profit affordable housing advocate.
