Salena Wilson is the Rater Division Manager for the main office in Venice , FL.  She brings to the firm 17 years of managing experience.  Salena is a Class 2 Residential Rater, Certified Duct Smoke Tester, FGBC Certified and LEED for Homes Field agent.  Her responsibilities include all scheduling, managing and testing of the homes that need Green Certifying and/or Energy Star for the Venice Office. 

Jeremy Gary is certified by the State of Florida as a Class 1 Energy Rater and he is a certified Duct Smoke Tester. He brings with him a background in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. In addition to performance testing and mid-construction inspections, Jeremy's  responsibilities also include working in conjunction with Dennis on building science diagnostic issues for new and existing buildings. He is based out of the Venice, FL office.

TITUSVILLE OFFICE

Jon Klongerbo is Director of our East Coast Division. He is a Duct Smoke Testing Instructor, certified by the State of Florida as a Class 1 Residential Energy Rater and a Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) certifying agent. He has performed hundreds of duct tests in support of different Federal, State and Utility programs and for diagnostic investigations.  He is currently involved with private development and introduction of innovative, practical and understandable duct testing systems and protocols for common usage. He has conducted cost and energy savings analysis on a multitude of new residential construction projects and has worked in support of numerous technical and research projects while employed at the Florida Solar Energy center. Jon has an MBA from University of Central Florida and a BSBA from the University of Florida.

Tei Kucharski  performs Manual-J load and energy code calculations for Calcs-Plus.  She is also program coordinator for the Florida Energy Gauge on a part time basis. There, her tasks include marketing Energy Gauge® software to consumers, builders, real estate professionals and mechanical systems professionals, the training of new raters, educating diversified groups about the rating system, software technical support and maintaining the ratings database. In addition, she has also conducted workshops and performed technical support for the Department of Community Affairs in Florida dealing with both residential and commercial energy code to building officials, HVAC contractors, and builders. Ms. Kucharski has more than 20 years experience in preparing residential and commercial energy calculations for builders. She is a Certified Class I Energy Rater in the State of Florida and a certified residential building contractor, inactive. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Housing Coalition, a non-profit affordable housing advocate.

WEST PALM BEACH OFFICE

Chris Sparks is certified by the State of Florida as a Building Contractor.  He is Class 1 Residential Rater, Commercial Rater, Public Building Rater, and LEED for Homes Field Agent.  He has Experience with Solar Photovoltaic design and installation as well as Solar Hot Water design and installation.  His background before entering this field was as a military and civilian pilot and with some federal contracting experience.  He has a bachelor degree from University of Nevada, Reno.  He has completed the U.S. Air Force Command and Staff College and is currently working on his master’s degree.

Megan Schroeder operates our South Florida West Palm Beach division. She is primarily responsible for Code Compliance Calculation and HVAC Load Calculation. She brings with her three years of managing experience. She is currently working towards becoming a Class 3 Residential Rater and working toward her bachelor degree.

TAMPA OFFICE

Bill Eberle operates our Tampa Bay Division. He is Duct Smoke Testing Instructor, certified by the State of Florida as a Class 1 Energy Rater, and is an Energy Star Partner. He supplies compliance and verification consulting and has engineered programs for Florida Utilities usage, modeling and energy conservation programs. Bills background includes Engineering for Datacom, Telecom, Defense and Power Industries. He is an alumnus of Clarkson University in Chemical Engineering.
