Lauri Gambino
Owner & Operations Director
Since acquiring Calcs-Plus in 2022, Lauri has applied over 30 years of business experience and technical insight to guide the company’s growth and operations. She drives the firms marketing and branding initiatives, manages client and contractor relationships, and oversees daily workflow to ensure every project meets strict standards for accuracy and code compliance. Under her leadership, Calcs-Plus has expanded its service offerings, added new technical capabilities, and become a registered Florida engineering firm. Her strategic direction continues to strengthen the company’s reputation as a trusted partner and collaborator for HVAC design and energy compliance across the state.
Vince Gambino, P.Eng.
Co-Owner & Acoustical Consultant
Vince is an internationally recognized expert in acoustics, vibration, and noise control with over 40 years of experience across environmental, industrial, and architectural sectors. As the founder of Vintec Acoustics, now a division of Calcs-Plus, he leads projects involving complex noise and vibration challenges—from the design of novel noise and vibration control solutions to environmental assessments and architectural acoustics in the design development of unique and custom designs for high-performance spaces. Vince supports Calcs-Plus clients with advanced acoustics and vibration consulting services that complement the firm’s HVAC and energy compliance work.
Dennis Stroer
Founder & Owner Emeritus
Dennis founded Calcs-Plus over 30 years ago with a vision to provide accurate, code-compliant HVAC calculations and practical building science solutions to Florida contractors, builders, and homeowners. As a past president and former owner, Dennis remains actively involved in a technical support and mentoring role, sharing his expertise and deep industry knowledge with staff and clients. His longstanding commitment to quality, technical excellence, and professionalism continues to influence the company’s standards and reputation

Dan is the first point of contact for many of our clients and plays a key role in ensuring every project starts on the right track. In addition to coordinating job details and gathering required documentation, he leads outreach efforts, supports client retention, and helps acquire new business. Dan’s proactive communication style and deep understanding of our services make him a valuable resource for both new and long-term clients.
Tammie Greenwald
Office Administrator
Tammie is the organizational backbone of Calcs-Plus. She oversees a range of critical tasks including sending job estimates, invoicing clients, coordinating blower door and duct leakage test setups, and handling day-to-day accounting functions. Her precision and reliability have supported our operations for nearly a decade, making her a trusted and integral part of the team.

Todd Busch, P.E.
Professional Engineer – Florida
Todd serves as the Florida Professional Engineer of record for Calcs-Plus, providing oversight and sealing mechanical plans to ensure compliance with state and local code requirements. With more than 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering, he brings a strong command of HVAC system design and regulatory standards. Todd plays a key role in supporting the firm’s ability to deliver accurate, permit-ready documentation for residential and commercial projects across Florida.
Harrison Slocum
Mechanical Engineer
Harrison brings over five years of experience in HVAC system design for residential, commercial, and public-sector projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama and an additional degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida. At Calcs-Plus, Harrison focuses primarily on commercial projects, contributing to HVAC load calculations, system design, duct layout, and energy code compliance. His well-rounded background supports a practical, energy-efficient approach to delivering accurate and code-compliant documentation.
Robert Monks
System Design Specialist
Robert has over 25 years of experience in HVAC system design, with a focus on duct layout and airflow optimization for commercial and residential projects. At Calcs-Plus, he leads system design efforts for restaurants, salons, and office spaces, creating efficient, code-compliant systems tailored to each building’s needs. With a career that began in A/C installation and service, Robert brings valuable field insight to his design work, ensuring each plan is both practical and performance driven.
Jeff Petrosky
HVAC Design Technician
Jeff is a dedicated member of our HVAC design department, specializing in residential system and duct design, plus equipment selection. His attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure each project meets energy code requirements and performs efficiently. Jeff works closely with the team to deliver accurate, reliable plans that support smooth permitting and successful installation.
Randy Hurley
Load Calculation Specialist:
Randy has been with Calcs-Plus since the early 1990s and specializes in Manual J and Manual S calculations using Elite RHVAC software. He focuses on residential projects, providing accurate load calculations and equipment sizing to meet Florida’s energy code requirements. With decades of experience and a reputation for reliability, Randy is a trusted resource for clients needing fast, code-compliant documentation.

Manual J Load & Energy Calculation Technician
Scott brings over four decades of experience in HVAC system design, troubleshooting, and project management. At Calcs-Plus, he focuses on residential load calculations and energy code compliance, applying his deep knowledge of mechanical systems and building performance. His long-standing career in both fieldwork and consulting gives him a practical, solutions-driven approach that supports accurate and efficient documentation for permitting.
Elizabeth O’Keefe, MS
Energy Code & Load Calculation Technician
Elizabeth focuses on residential energy code compliance, delivering precise calculations that support permitting and regulatory approval across Florida. She brings a methodical and analytical approach to every building science project, drawing on her background in consulting, a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and specialized training in building science and energy performance through the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC). Elizabeth also contributes to Calcs-Plus’s social media efforts, helping communicate the value of load & energy calculations, system design, and energy efficiency to both professionals and homeowners.
